Eighteen rings, 17 necklaces, 10 pairs of earrings, three bracelets, one charm, one brooch. Seven heart-shape jewels. Two in wood. Many colors. Most in yellow gold, some in platinum, a dash of rose gold. These were the 2025 Britt’s Picks. Thank you, as always, for reading, and for letting me just be a fan of jewelry.
Looking forward to seeing what we discover in 2026.
Eden Presley’s Only Love Ring

“To kick off the year, here’s a heart, Eden Presley’s Only Love ring, that both warms and cools—with its symbol of the winter season’s romantic holiday and a soothing summery color combination. Pictured with a chrysocolla center (but also available with lapis, malachite, mother-of-pearl, tiger’s eye, pink opal, and black onyx), the heart is framed in two dimensions of turquoise and opal, the most beautiful mixture of gems.”
Emily P. Wheeler’s Enamel Heart Studs

“They’re the kind of earrings that are equally marvelous worn alone or paired with huggies or even another pair of hearts. The studs’ puffy style is nostalgic and ultrafeminine and, above all, fun—all qualities one might hope to find in heart jewelry.”
Lauren K’s Remi Heart Necklace

“Lauren K’s Remi necklace has a puffy textured heart in luscious 18k yellow gold, set with a smattering of diamonds in round, baguette, and marquise cuts. This is a Valentine’s treat without all the guilt of chocolate—though perhaps some over the current price of gold. Still, for a gorgeous piece built to last forever, it’s well worth the splurge for endless style and substance.”
Katkim’s Éternal Cloud Ring

“Katkim’s sculptural Éternal Cloud ring—from the brand’s Éternal collection, which it describes as ‘celebrating love’—has a heart design so subtle it’s almost a secret, representing a well-protected heart for the person who wears it.”
Auvere’s Lotus Diamond Heart Necklace

“Designed in 2022 for Sotheby’s Brilliant & Black: Age of Enlightenment exhibit—a selling showcase for contemporary Black designers that was held that September in London in honor of the late great Terry Castro—the Auvere necklace is a bit of luxury that can be worn anytime, anywhere.”
Guita M’s Emerald Heart Necklace

“‘This is a very recent creation from a pair of unusually large Colombian emerald hearts I had acquired in Tucson some years ago,’ designer Guita Mortinger tells JCK. ‘The detachable heart pendant is made from a flawless emerald adorned with mauve sapphires in 18k yellow gold, and the strand is made of emerald and chrysoberyl cat’s-eye beads.’”
Meira T’s Conch Fossil Necklace

“And then, an unexpectedly delightful detail sets the whole thing ablaze: Blue rhodium outlines the conch, helping to highlight the azure within the pendant’s iridescent gathering of color. Tying the whole thing together in one lively little package, the conch’s border is lined with diamonds, for a sparkle to match the charms above.”
Chantel Shafie’s Eternal Dragon Ring

“This remarkable ring by Chantel Shafie honors the dragon but symbolizes much more with its amazing detail, including an element of mobility. ‘The reversible signet ring design centers around a mighty dragon and auspicious clouds, with the two motifs adorning opposite sides of a lucky feng shui coin,’ the Hong Kong–based designer tells JCK.”
Peruffo’s Lyrics Statement Choker

“As for Peruffo’s necklace, some might argue its modern, edgier style would be more at home at the Golden Globes or another awards event than the Oscars, which tend to veer more formal, more classic. But there’s beauty in the unexpected, and if Timothée Chalamet can channel a stick of butter in a luscious yellow leather suit, then a two-toned, fringed, geometric neckpiece is just right.”
Reza’s Emerald Stride Ring

“It’s hard to choose a favorite element, but I love the care put into the ring’s setting—brushed gold, like a soft blanket for the precious gems. If it were too shiny, our eyes wouldn’t focus as delicately, giving us the time to appreciate each angle, prong, and facet. But this is just right, with a hint of shine on the prongs melding beautifully with the overall setting.”
Soleil Leon’s Rainbow Cuban Chain Necklace

“I love this rainbow look from the New York–based jewelry brand Soleil Leon because it takes an already hot style (the chunky gold chain, wonderfully durable in its appeal, is as in-demand as ever) and adds a splash of color that’s not overpowering but just a nice touch of something bright.”
M.S. Rau’s Interstellar Peridot Ring

“A 1.11 ct. meteoritic peridot sits at the center of this art deco–meets–futuristic–looking ring, a rare find given that peridots from space (from space!) rarely exceed a single carat given its extreme conditions.”
Shana Zappa’s Wishing Star Ring

“Zappa’s one-of-a-kind ring was crafted as an homage to the act of wishing on a shooting star, a ritual that embodies hope and resilience and beauty. An electric seafoam green tourmaline sits at the center of a two-tone setting detailed with milgrain and lined with 100 diamonds, with raised stars decorating the band for an echo of the central theme.”
ZAHN-Z’s Origami Stars Necklace

“‘It began in August 2024 with a message from one of my longtime clients,’ Hiba Husayni, the designer behind ZAHN-Z, recounts to JCK. ‘She reached out with a beautifully nostalgic request: to transform a cherished childhood memory into a custom jewelry piece.’”
Lito’s Two-Tone Infinite Earrings

“‘I love the way the earrings attract the light when being worn. The movement is like they are dancing,’ says brand founder Lito Karakostanoglou. ‘I wanted to design a pair of earrings that would look amazing with every outfit, and these do because they don’t have colored gems on them, only colors of gold—yellow and pink.’”
Alice Pierre’s Mama Necklace

“The funky font is outlined in bands of 14k yellow gold layered like a cake and iced with diamond accents. The necklace, which is handmade in Los Angeles, sits at the perfect length for a good glimpse—16 inches long.”
Heavenly Vices’ Celestial Stories Gemini Pendant

“To have a big honkin’ emerald would be the dream, but it’s not one that everyone’s wallet (mine among them) can afford. So I love what the Atlanta-based brand Heavenly Vices has done, combining the beauty of emerald with the allure of malachite, a stone that mimics the birthstone’s color with extra dimension.”
Tejen’s Opal Candy Bowl Collar Necklace

“A newer piece from Tejen builds on the delectable Rock Sugar collection: an opalicious pendant perched on a collar necklace, offering one of the best sort of looks the market has going these days. The necklace is crafted using Fairmined gold, as Tejen—which is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year—recently became an official Fairmined ambassador.”
Hine Fine Jewelry’s Double Buckle Necklace

“A part of Hine Fine Jewelry’s debut collection, First Rodeo, the necklace is themed with reimagined classic cowboy elements. This Western aesthetic has been popular for a while, though it wasn’t Beyoncé’s venture into country music or TikTok’s cowboy couture trend that prompted First Rodeo’s creation, as Hine designer Rachael Bennett explains.”
Antika’s Art Deco–Style Yellow Sapphire Ring

“The stone here has a similar hue as citrine, plus the advantage, as sapphire, of being harder and more durable. Just under 4 cts. of yellow sapphire are arranged in an invisible setting that evokes the styles of the 1920s, when multiple smaller gemstones set sans prongs gave the appearance of a much larger stone (for a lesser price).”
Ocean Jewelry’s Deep Blue Necklace

“‘Deep Blue is more than a collection, it’s the beginning of a high-end jewelry line,’ said Shane Maher, CEO of Flaircraft, the company that owns Ocean Jewelry, in a statement. ‘Designed for those who treasure gold as part of their story and who understand the beauty and meaning behind lab-grown gemstones like diamonds, sapphires, and emeralds.’”
Parlé’s Opal Rose Brooch

“’Is it an issue that it’s already sold?’ Parlé’s marketing director Stephanie Major asked when I inquired about the piece via email. That poses no problem for the lucky owner of the one-of-a-kind jewel, of course, but I must admit I lament that I won’t see it in person.”
Studio IO’s Custom Brown Quartz Ring

“Thanks to Studio IO owner Jenifer Thai’s eye for design, the center quartz really does appear as if it’s alive—those inclusions are practically bursting with energy, and the gradient of diamonds plays off the golden needles inside the gem. While this is a custom creation, it’s a testament to the work Studio IO, formerly IO Collective, can do.”
LFR Studios’ Moonstone Locket

“You wouldn’t expect a gemstone of this size hiding within the golden house of this glorious locket. A slightly translucent pink sapphire on the outside serves as a window to the treasure located in the locket’s interior. Open it, and there it is.”
Asprey London’s Imperial Jadeite Pendant

“Asprey London’s pendant pays homage to the traditional craft in the United Arab Emirates of talli, which involves the weaving of fabric and metallic ribbons. This practice is mimicked in the pendant’s geometric design, as amethyst and diamonds appear to weave a regal frame around the center stone.”
Renna’s Bubble Necklaces

“The latest color additions to Bubbles—pink tourmaline, emerald, golden beryl, and mint tourmaline (all shown above)—cement the notion that Renna designs jewels for the ages. The necklaces blend a bit of old and new, with vintage-style rope chains and contemporary bezel-set gems. (Doesn’t it seem like everything is set in a bezel right now? It’s wonderful.)”
CCWW Design’s Malachite Ammonite Earrings

“Those dots of gold and bezel-set lab-grown diamonds, much like the tubercles on shells, provide texture for both touch and sight, elevating what is already a special carved creation to behold.”
Francesca Villa’s Fantasia Hoop Earrings

“Appearing to jump straight out of a storybook, the sculpted enamel and titanium whales, both outfitted with a carefree expression, appear to coast on a wave of 18k yellow gold hoops. A splash of iolite, dangling in charm form off the whales’ tails, serves as a function of moving water, while bezel-set round iolite at the earrings’ front arc adds a punch of color and refinement.”
Karina Choudhrie’s Turquoise Tides Earrings

“Some of the most striking and refreshing pieces of jewelry combine blue and green gemstones—Karina Choudhrie’s dangling high jewelry pair is a perfect example. These earrings are a study in the variances of turquoise. Many consumers picture the gemstone only in crisp blue, but it can also show as shocking green, a result of higher iron content.”
Claudia Mae’s Chunky Flora Nomad Ring

“‘We really pushed the boundaries of what is typically seen in burnish-set gemstones,’ says brand founder Claudia Kronfeld. ‘It took years of experimentation with different setters to find the skill set needed for this kind of work. All of that trial and error led us to work exclusively with master setter Lamine Fikai, who trained at L’École de Bijouterie et Joaillerie and previously worked for iconic houses like Henry Dunay and Harry Winston.’”
Maison H’s Belle Earrings

“Not that the Dubai-based jeweler’s luxurious pair is a precise match for Jasmine’s, but they do have quite a bit in common: bold scale, minimalist silhouette, smooth gold. It’s like the grown-up version of the earrings I’ve coveted since a fictional cartoon princess first graced the screen in 1992.”
Porter Lyons’ Alligator Funeral Ring

“This mechanical creation is form and function, inspired by 19th-century Britain’s funeral rings, which held a deceased loved one’s hair or ashes. Most mourning jewelry we find on the market today is antique, but this new piece might be a sign the Victorian tradition is finding a contemporary angle—even if the ring wearer doesn’t opt to store a literal piece of their loved one inside.”
Sheryl Lowe’s Antique Italian Coral Bracelets

“Not to mention the bohemian luxury of it all. That style has transcended festivals this summer and breached the mainstream consumer crowd, putting beaded bracelets and layerable necklaces, charms, and stackable bangles on the young and hip and the seasoned and chic alike.”
Toi’s Diamond Smart Ring Jacket

“Toi’s version bears the marks of its maker’s design DNA: enamel and satiny white gold, bezel-set round diamonds dangling like charm confetti. The four-pointed star that’s a hallmark of Toi jewelry creates a negative space pattern for the smart ring to peek through, so the look can differ depending on the ring.”
Gyan Jaipur’s Ebony Wood Ring

“Created using hand-carved ebony, each ring from the 14-piece collection is set with a gloriously colored gemstone, ranging from a rich emerald to an incredible purple star sapphire. My favorite, though, is the green amethyst. A fantastic, pistachio-esque green bezel-set in polished gold, this ring is glorious for fall (and all other seasons). I love the rustic pairing of the ebony wood and the center stone, a bright spark against its rich, dark setting.”
Elaine Chong’s Moving Eye Pendant

“A labradorite plays the part of the moving eye, surrounded by a gathering of evil eyes, a motif that possesses meaning worldwide. In jewelry, the evil eye is not tied to any particular cultural tradition—it’s a universal symbol of protection, an amulet to be worn, loved, and seen.”
Evangeline Jewelry’s Cirrus Ring

“There’s a striking juxtaposition between gem and metal here—the stone polished, luminescent, and colorful; the cigar-style band exhibiting a raw, almost primal quality, its curving lines—which might easily be taken for snakes—against a textured field of gold.”
Eden Presley’s Fishbone Earrings

“Building on Eden Presley’s popular Swedish Fish collection, this one-of-a-kind pair utilizes a combination of bubblegum pink spinel and dreamy turquoise for the vertically dangling fish’s body, and incomparable bright yellow vesuvianite for its head. I’m getting major Miami Beach vibes, and as that’s a destination for color and style all year round, these earrings shouldn’t be relegated to the back of the closet come winter.”
Ashaha’s Opal Mini Hiba Earrings

“Keeping with the brand’s form of modern elegance, the earrings’ matte gold provides a refined setting for the opals, as the materials come together in a harmonious way. Despite opal’s realm of color and mystery, here they’re part of a design that feels grounding, intentional, and—obviously—gorgeous.”
Claudia Mae’s Tourmaline Locket

“The locket, from Claudia Mae’s limited-release Love Locked collection, has an air of modern nostalgia—something we’re all a bit obsessed with right now—with its bubbly heart center in a vivid, jelly-like red-pink tourmaline. A trio of opal hearts cast their milky glow beneath the tourmaline, demonstrating the ease with which October’s gems can be worn together, each shade of tourmaline bringing out a single color from opal’s prism (in this case, we get a glorious pink radiance).”
Elyzian’s Mother & Child Tourmaline Ring

“The symbolism is rich and meaningful—enough for a sentimental purchase alone—but the ring’s modern style, with its chunky gold profile and domed silhouette casting designed for comfort, make it a good bet for any consumer, mother of a daughter or not.”
Callista by Vinita’s Raas Leela Earrings

“If you look closely at the earring on the left, you’ll notice that vertical bar is in the shape of a flute, decorated with cubic zirconia where the instrument’s finger holes would be. Swirling around the flute are jasmine flowers, which appear in the shorter of the two earrings as well, representing eternal love and devotion, Radha’s deep love for Krishna.”
Harwell Godfrey’s Tourmaline Bianca Ring

“Not one to leave a single detail without intention, Lauren Harwell Godfrey frames the central tourmaline in a hand-carved rock crystal, which the designer says was intended to honor the beauty of the stone, giving it ‘an architectural frame that felt luminous yet strong.’ The crystal also echoes the immersive glam of Studio 54—its mirrors, sequined decor, massive disco ball, all playing on the light and creating a spectacle that the who’s who of New York wanted to be part of.”
Peruffo’s La Divine Choker

“This kinetic necklace has a radiant quality, its sunbeam-ish lines varying in length and reaching up and down, a pattern of shorter quills alternating with diamond-tipped ones. It’s the kind of immaculate detail at which Peruffo excels—the care and intention obvious, the tactile elements engrossing.”
Omi Privé’s Zoisite and Garnet Ring

“This zoisite is all the more special for the Omi Privé design that incorporates it, pairing perfectly with side malaya garnets. Omi owner and designer Niveet Nagpal says those garnets were chosen for their shared geological origin with the zoisite—both gems are found in Tanzania—and for a ‘harmonizing warm-to-cool contrast.’”
Marrow Fine’s Aquamarine and Opal Ring

“If you ask Marrow Fine founder and creative director Jillian Sassone, the ring is more a mermaid of sorts (and I can’t disagree). ‘I color-matched the melon enamel to the pops of pink that flash inside of the Australian opal,’ she says. ‘This colorway feels playful and fun, and I would call her “celestial mermaid.” I’m not sure what that is exactly, but it feels like this!’”
Meluzza’s Convertible Cherry Earrings

“On each ear, a juicy red round rhodolite and bright green marquise tsavorite are arranged in the likeness of a cherry—but there is an air of holiday adornment to them, especially this time of year. Meluzza founder and CEO Paula Doebrich tells JCK she designed the earrings to be subtle and versatile, as they’re convertible to four different styles. You can wear a cherry and leaf when you want to, or play with another combination.”
Kimberly McDonald’s Quartz Cuff Bracelet

“Organic meets architectural as a domed surface of translucent quartz provides a soft backdrop for geometric motifs—triangular arrangements of pavé sapphires and diamonds. The carved quartz crystal, while subtle in a way that allows the colored gemstones to pop, might be the biggest statement of all for its sheer size, though its airy, almost liquid look keeps it from feeling too heavy or overpowering.”
Jade Ruzzo’s Wood Cuff Bracelet

“There’s a ballet-like softness here, the cuff’s curves combining with the hazy pink of the stone. But much like a ballerina’s strength, the bracelet is as powerful as it is graceful, its skillful shape coma knockout of the highest order—a prima ballerina of bracelets, if you will.”
Alison Lou’s Prism Ring

“At its center, a 2 ct. lab-grown diamond—a substantial gem for a substantially cool piece, encircled in a 14k yellow gold bezel that brings a certain luxurious warmth. In white gold, the ring might have read as icy, a welcome aesthetic in December to be sure, but the yellow metal adds a cheerfully chic touch.”
