Britt’s Pick: Reza’s Emerald Stride Ring

Share

Green isn’t generally considered a trending color right now (although Pinterest’s 2025 color predictions included a fabulous dill hue), but as spring awakens, we begin to see more of it. Green is a standard of the season—the color of the budding trees, the grass coming back to life. It’s vitality, rebirth. And with St. Patrick’s Day less than a week away, it’s an absolute must (at least if you don’t want to get pinched).

These are some of the thoughts that had me gravitating toward Reza’s gorgeously green ring, apart from its obvious allure—a sensational Colombian emerald.

With a trio of green and pink gemstones, this ring is an unmistakable breath of spring. Its asymmetrical setting of the emerald and two pink sapphires provides one of multiple focal points for the Paris-based brand’s creation—a bit of sophisticated fun with elegant color, arranged like a light step that makes it easier to get from here to there.

It’s hard to choose a favorite element, but I love the care put into the ring’s setting—brushed gold, like a soft blanket for the precious gems. If it were too shiny, our eyes wouldn’t focus as delicately, giving us the time to appreciate each angle, prong, and facet. But this is just right, with a hint of shine on the prongs melding beautifully with the overall setting.

As May approaches, we will be treated to plenty of fantastic emerald jewels, this piece among them. As an emerald baby myself, I can say with certainty this one will be a hit for anyone celebrating a birthday that month.
