In celebrity engagement ring news, actress Sienna Miller was photographed last week in Barcelona wearing a round brilliant-cut solitaire diamond set in yellow gold (her engagement to actor Oli Green, with whom Miller has two children, was subsequently confirmed).
Miller’s diamond looks to be in the 1.5 to 2 ct. range, Oliver Hobart, a ring expert at jewelry brand 925E, tells JCK. The band itself, he says, appears slender and unadorned: no pavé, no side stones, no halo—just the diamond, clean and confident.
“What is particularly fitting is how naturally this ring sits within Sienna’s jewelry journey. From her early boho days of layered chains, mismatched hoops, and stacked bangles, her taste has evolved into something more refined—quietly elegant pieces that feel considered rather than curated,” says Hobart.
“This ring is the natural destination of that evolution. A round brilliant solitaire in yellow gold is perhaps the most enduring engagement ring design in existence, and for someone who has been a fashion leader for decades, there is something quietly powerful about choosing the piece that never goes out of style,” he adds.
Here is a look at what else made JCK’s collective brain click this week.
