Mousson Atelier Tunes Up to Play at JCK

Share

Each year, the JCK Las Vegas show features a host of new exhibitors that send the industry achatter with exciting designs and refreshed perspectives. In 2026, Mousson Atelier—creator of the enamel and diamond violin brooch above (from a line of brooches that includes pianos, harps, and guitars)—is poised to be one of those exhibitors, showcasing at Luxury for the first time.

Now based in Bangkok, the brand was founded in St. Petersburg by Maria Krasnova, Alexander Sokolov, and Mikhail Epstein. At Luxury, retailers will experience Mousson Atelier’s bold color stories and contemporary silhouettes, which combine traditional styles with new techniques for a distinctly modern, gemstone-heavy aesthetic.

Krasnova and Sokolov spoke with JCK about their upcoming debut on the industry’s largest B2B stage, what they hope to gain from the show, and the jewels sure to wow attendees.

Why did Mousson Atelier decide to move to JCK for Las Vegas Jewelry Week?

We’ve been part of the Couture Las Vegas show since 2016, and after years there it felt like the right moment to open a new door. JCK brings in buyers and tastemakers we haven’t yet reached, and we wanted to see how they respond to Mousson Atelier. Our collections are niche: culturally rooted, technically demanding, and genuinely unlike anything else on the floor. We want JCK attendees to experience that firsthand.

What are your primary goals for the show—brand awareness, retail partnerships, or something else?

We want to build awareness and find the retail partners who can bring Mousson Atelier to design-forward, culturally appreciative audiences across the U.S. But beyond the business goals, we also just want people to really understand Mousson Atelier—to hold the pieces, talk to the founding team, and feel the level of intention behind every detail. This show is for the people who’ve heard of us and are curious, and for the buyers who are ready to carry us.

Which collections are you prioritizing for your JCK showcase, and why?

Our three main features for the U.S. market are Kaleidoscope, Spectrum, and our Artistic brooches, and together they give a full picture of what Mousson Atelier is. Kaleidoscope’s signature enameling creates a striking 3D effect that is extremely eye-catching. Spectrum is made to the raw stone shapes, so each piece is genuinely one-of-a-kind, unrepeatable by nature. And the Artistic brooches bring cultural storytelling into the construction itself: hand-pulled golden strings, enamel textures, the detail of a musical instrument, and a story told on the back of every single piece. Each collection is elegant and clever in its own way. Mousson Atelier makes wearable art, and these three show exactly what that means.

Your work is known for distinctive gemstones and design—what do you think will resonate most on the show floor?

Kaleidoscope will turn heads. It’s a Mousson Atelier classic and our best performer in the U.S. market, but each iteration is distinct, with new enamel patterns that feel fresh every time. It’s highly wearable but unmistakably sharp and bold. The kind of piece that rewards a discerning eye. We expect it to draw people in and do a lot of the talking for us.

Are there “hero pieces” you expect retailers to respond to instantly?

Two that we’re counting on [both are pictured above]. The first is our Artistic brooch: a violin rendered in enamel creating a wood-like texture, with hand-pulled golden strings, and a back that tells a cultural story. Every back can also be personalized/customized to a client’s own story, which makes it as meaningful as it is beautiful. Real art you can wear.

The second is our Kaleidoscope ring in aquamarine, tanzanite, diamonds, and enamel set in 18k white gold. Bold, beautiful, and instantly arresting. Retailers tend to respond to it immediately. It’s a genuine eye-catcher and a Mousson Atelier signature all in one.

What are you most excited—or nervous—about as a first-time exhibitor at JCK Las Vegas? And what would make the show a success?

Honestly, we’re more excited than nervous. We’re ready to see JCK’s reaction to Mousson Atelier; that live feedback and personal interaction is priceless for our brand. Success for us looks like leaving with strong contacts and potential partnerships that have real room to grow. That would be a meaningful milestone for the whole team.
