Yafa Signed Jewels new Bal Harbour Shops boutique in Miami puts the legacy jeweler in one of the hottest jewelry and watch markets, continuing its growth in areas where clients are looking for in-person experiences.
The 3,000-square-foot boutique at 9700 Collins Avenue is Yafa’s second retail store. The family-owned jeweler also has a private client salon in New York City along with its flagship retail store on Palm Beach’s Worth Avenue.
“Bal Harbour Shops has always been on our radar as one of the most incredible shopping destinations in the country. When we began considering this expansion, we knew it was a logical home for us as we continue to expand our business across South Florida,” Yafa principal Tyler Moradof tells JCK.

Founded more than 40 years ago by Yafa Moradof and her son, Maurice, Yafa Signed Jewels began as a rare jewelry supplier working with the industry’s high jewelry brands. Tyler Moradof joined the business in 2023, and the family has since expanded it to include these brick-and-mortar boutiques. The Bal Harbour boutique opened in March.
Located on the second floor, the Bal Harbour Shops boutique is designed to look and feel like a luxury hotel, Moradof says. Think private suites, curated lighting, and a welcoming vibe that encourages clients to browse while also enjoying a long conversation.
The interior designer reflects Miami’s art deco architectural heritage alongside modern furnishings and artwork. Its primary color is a deep marine blue, which is balanced with neutral yet luxurious chairs, couches, and jewelry cases.
Miami has a growing base of jewelry, art, and watch aficionados, so Yafa wanted to be midst of its retail scene. Recent store additions include the 7,300-square-foot AP House Miami at 1759 Purdy Avenue; it is Audemars Piguet’s second Miami-area location with its first retail store opening in Bal Harbor in 2006.

Vacheron Constantin in April reopened its boutique in the Miami Design District, now the watchmaker’s largest (and most elaborate) flagship in the Americas. The 5,000-square-foot store has a two-story glass facade topped with the company’s iconic Maltese Cross emblem as well as a “living wall” and palm trees inside the store.
Plus, Miami has become a global hub for luxury, with events such as Art Basel Miami Beach and the JIS show at the Miami Beach Convention Center, where collectors can peruse and buy new, vintage, and antique timepieces, collectible handbags, and high jewelry like Yafa offers.
The Yafa Bal Harbour boutique will carry a selection of rare jewelry pieces like a 20 ct. pink diamond, rare mystery-set Van Cleef & Arpels creations, and a significant deep green diamond, Moradof says.
Additionally, Bal Harbour Shops has become known one of the highest-grossing retail destinations in the United States, attracting international clientele from Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, and Europe.
