Watch Week Aspen’s third iteration looks to be its largest yet, building on past years’ success with more participating brands and retail partners and an expanded calendar of collector meetups, expert panels, and exclusive activations.
Watch Week Aspen 2026 is scheduled for Aug. 13 to 16. The event, first held in 2024, was created by local jewelry store Oliver Smith in partnership with the Aspen Chamber Resort Association, bringing watch enthusiasts to the Colorado resort town in summer—when its dining, shopping, and outdoor activities offer a different experience than during the ski-centric winter season.
“As we enter our third year, Watch Week Aspen’s growth is a testament to what can happen when global brands, local retailers, and city partners come together with a shared commitment to building community,” says Elizabeth Smith, managing director of Oliver Smith Jeweler and cofounder of Watch Week Aspen.
“When we collaborate to create meaningful access, experiences, and connections, collectors ultimately win,” she says. “I’m incredibly proud of how the event continues to evolve and excited for what Year 3 will bring.”

Watch Week takes place across Aspen and includes horology-focused social gatherings, company presentations, and product debuts as well as recreational events, ranging from Watch Week’s first-ever 3K run to tennis and pickleball matches.
The 2026 slate of participating brands includes A. Lange & Söhne, Arnold & Son, Blancpain, Cyrus Watches, Gerald Charles, Glashütte, Hermès, IWC, L. Leroy, Moritz Grossmann, Norqain, and Omega. Joining Oliver Smith as Watch Week partners are Analog Shift, Avi & Co., Betteridge, and Meridian Jewelers, among others.
The 3K run is scheduled for the morning of Friday, Aug. 14, and will be led by Emmanuel Bütler, U.S. brand president of watchmaker Norqain. A “Golden Hour” welcome party will be held Friday evening, followed by a Collector’s Dinner on Saturday.
Highlights of the Watch Week Aspen speaker series include a Hermès-sponsored talk about the brand’s Le Temps Suspendu complication; a presentation by Omega on the legacy of its iconic Speedmaster; and a discussion with A. Lange & Söhne Americas president Charles Langlois about the Lumen collection and its newest limited-edition model, the Lange 1 Tourbillion Perpetual Calendar in platinum.
On Saturday afternoon, Oliver Smith will host a conversation with Moritz Grossmann CEO and founder Christine Hutter. And M.S. Rau, the New Orleans–based antiques gallery that recently opened a location in downtown Aspen, will hold a “Champagne & Complications” kickoff party on Aug. 13, previewing timepieces in its inventory from Cartier, Rolex, Patek Philippe, Ulysse Nardin, and other prestigious brands.
Watch Week Aspen events are open to the public. Most are free, and people are invited to RSVP for individual events through the Watch Week website. The Collector’s Dinner requires a ticket purchase.
