Hardrock Summit Joins AGS

Fine gemstone and jewelry event Hardrock Summit has announced its acceptance into the American Gem Society (AGS).

“Membership in the American Gem Society is a coveted distinction, and we are delighted to be new members,” said Wolter Mehring, cofounder of Hardrock Summit, in a statement. “Since our launch in 2021, we have strived to provide the industry with an event to source the best fine gem, jewelry, and mineral companies in the world, as well as education and opportunities to network. We look forward to actively participating in AGS initiatives and contributing to the advancement of the industry.”

Stuller Releases New Catalogs

Stuller new catalogs

Stuller has issued two 2024–2025 catalogs, Findings & Metals and Chain & Components. The chain catalog covers chain-related styles, tools, and more, while the findings catalog features more than 1,000 new selections and current best sellers.

“This is Stuller’s first chain catalog,” said Alix Gonsoulin, vice president of merchandising, in a statement. “Chain is a vital link in our industry, so why not make a comprehensive guide to our assortment of chain for jewelry-making in addition to chain-related components, repair tools, supplies, and selling systems?”

“With the busy holiday season approaching, these two resources, when used together, will help jewelers craft their customers’ dream jewelry,” said Tiffany Adams, executive director of findings, tools, and metals, in a statement. “Our hope is that they become important resources for every jeweler’s business.”
