Instappraise Debuts Trifold Brochure Format

Instappraise, a jewelry and watch valuation software company, has announced it’s now offering its appraisal reports as trifold brochures.

“At Instappraise, we’ve heard these desires loud and clear, and we’re proud to announce that we’re making this premium format available to the entire industry,” said company founder Raphael Boivin in a statement. “This marks a significant shift in the landscape of jewelry and watch appraisals, as we bring to fruition what the industry has always dreamed of: the ability to create professional-quality brochures from any printer supporting double-sided printing.

“With our innovative approach to technology, we’re democratizing access to premium resources, empowering businesses and individuals alike to elevate their valuations processes with ease.”

The new brochure can be printed on any paper thickness, stock, or weight, and the user may also choose between glossy and matte finish. The report is designed to fit into a plastic sleeve, a common feature for GIA grading reports.

JGTD 2024 to Expand Country Pavilions

Pavilions for the United States and three other countries will be added to the Jewellery Gem & Technology Dubai (JGTD) show, set for Nov. 12–14, during Dubai Diamond Week. Organizers of the show—to be held at the Dubai Exhibition Centre in Expo City—also said JGTD will have 10 new exhibit zones this year.

“JGTD is a premium sourcing destination for jewelry markets that enjoy easy access to Dubai,” said Marco Carniello, chief business officer at Italian Exhibition Group (IEG), an organizer of the show, in a statement. “This buying event is enriched by an expanded range of offerings, its new dates and venue, and strong industry support. More importantly, JGTD responds to the evolving dynamics of the B2B buying process, catering to the trade’s need for faster sourcing cycles to meet the ever-changing preferences of their customers in the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and other regions.”

Country pavilions for the U.S., China, Thailand, and Sri Lanka will join JGTD for its third edition this fall. A variety of products from nearly 400 exhibitors representing 25 countries are due to be showcased. The fair’s key categories include aspirational and luxury jewelry, loose diamonds, colored gemstones, lab-grown diamonds and finished jewelry, mountings, and jewelry manufacturing technologies.

Virtual Diamond Boutique Rebrands

Virtual Diamond Boutique is rebranding as VDB – Your Jewelry Tech Partner, as it pivots from its roots as a marketplace to a versatile provider of software solutions for retailers and suppliers.

Along with the renaming, VDB will be enhancing its digital marketplace with VDB 2.0, to launch simultaneously with its new logo. Updates include voice and text search functionality, enhanced language support, modernized systems for favorites, quoting, sharing, order management, and more.

“VDB is redefining what it means to be a technology partner in the jewelry sector,” said CEO and cofounder Tanya Nisguretsky in a statement. “Our evolution reflects a deep understanding of the industry’s needs, based on decades of jewelry industry experience. By offering customizable SaaS solutions that span the entire supply chain, we’re not just facilitating transactions; we’re helping our clients save money, increase profits, and transition into a new era of digital excellence.”
