We’re a little obsessed with pendants for men. That’s why we’re covering them. Again.
The market has never featured as many cool and classic options as it does today. But in perusing the 2022 pendant selection, we noticed that most designs fall into one of two camps: simple and minimalist or symbolic and freighted with meaning.
On the symbolic side stand pieces such as Sydney Evan’s peace-loving gold and diamond hands, the golden eagle pendant from Royal Chain, or Shay’s slithering snake style (say that 10 times fast!).
On the flip side are timeless circle designs (such as the Anise pendant by LA-based Ceremony or Jane Bartel’s two-tone piece—note its removable band, which can actually be worn as a midi ring!) and minimalist silhouettes that serve as blank canvases for the wearer to infuse with personality.
While there’s no wrong choice here, there is a sartorial reminder: Consider how these will look in layers. Neck messes are no longer just for the ladies!
