Piaget today released the final chapter of its sweeping three-year high jewelry trilogy: the 65-piece Colors of Extraleganza, which the brand describes as a “virtuoso collection of joyful, whimsical sets that burst with life.”
Colors of Extraleganza follows last year’s Shapes of Extraleganza and 2024’s Essence of Extraleganza, released for Piaget’s 150th anniversary. The trilogy honors the company’s golden era of the 1960s and 1970s with vibrant color and extraordinary craftsmanship provided at its Atelier de l’Extraordinaire.
“Color plays an integral role in Piaget’s history and heritage,” Stéphanie Sivrière, the brand’s artistic director, said in a statement. “Now, with Colors of Extraleganza, we’ve explored a new aspect of color that resonates perfectly with Piaget’s aesthetic codes: extravagance and elegance.”
While the Colors showcases vibrant gemstones such as ruby, emerald, opal, and tiger’s eye, Sivrière said, “What I’ve focused on, more than the gems themselves, is their chromatic power—namely their presence, the energy they exude, and the unique qualities they express when combined with others.” She mentioned as examples “black opals with green highlights paired with ultramarine sapphires, and a sapphire and mother-of-pearl duo that bring out each other’s dominant pink hues.”
