Keep Summer’s Orange Going Strong With Fire Opal For Fall

Share

Remember when orange was the color of the summer? It’d be a pity to put away that vibrant, joyous shade with the changing seasons.

Those post-Labor Day fashion rules might be bogus, but most styles offered in that glorious hue of fluorescent mango aren’t exactly cold weather–friendly, so there isn’t much choice in the matter. While one can hope for their favorite fashion brand to release a series of sunny orange wool sweaters, in the meantime, jewelry makes everything possible.

Look no further than fire opal to satiate the need for that gorgeous color, and right on time, too—while October’s birthstone will surely dominate in its many-colored form, that spellbinding black or white gem that contains multitudes of color, the lesser-known (by some consumers) fire opal is a righteous contender for headliner of the month.

Such an electric gemstone is precisely what will be needed to move through the cool days of fall, then the doldrums of a post-holiday winter, and well into the spring. A fluorescent orange won’t always be in fashion as far as clothing is concerned, but as for jewelry, this gem is guaranteed to be everlasting.
