Gem Legacy Auction: Through Oct. 2 (online)
For its fourth anniversary, nonprofit Gem Legacy, which is dedicated to supporting vocational training, entrepreneurship, and community development in East African colored gemstone mining communities, is holding an online auction. Proceeds from the sale—which features jewels donated by Greenwich St. Jewelers, Luxe Rox, Omi Gems, and Parlé Jewelry Designs, among others—will fund the charity’s initiative to help prevent silicosis, a deadly lung disease prevalent among tanzanite miners caused by the inhalation of silica dust, which is present in the tanzanite’s host rock.

JIS Miami Fall Show: Sept. 30–Oct. 3 (in person)
The JIS Fall show returns to Miami Beach, Fla., this week. In addition to the more than 600 domestic and international exhibitors participating in the show, the four-day event will see the return of the Plumb Club pavilion. A new lineup of special events and activations will include a headshot studio, where attendees can use a styling bar to get camera ready and have a headshot taken free of charge. And the Product Showcase Runway, located at the front of the show floor, will show visitors the newest trends and top-selling items that can be purchased at the show.

Centurion Top Watch Aftermarket Watch Conference: Sept. 28–30, 11 a.m. ET (online)
