The 2022 edition of JIS Fall is slated to run Sept. 30–Oct. 3, with new onsite special events, education, and activation areas at the Miami Beach Convention Center in Miami Beach, Fla. In addition to the over 600 domestic and international exhibitors of the show, the four-day event will see the return of the Plumb Club pavilion.

Comprising more than 105,000 square feet, the fall show is scheduled to meet the immediate needs of jewelry retailers and their customers for the holiday season. An assortment of products and services is organized into key purchasing pavilions, including Fine Jewelry, the Galleria, Lab Grown, ETS, Silver & Fashion, New Exhibitor Zone, and international pavilions including Italy, Hong Kong, Turkey, Uzbekistan, and South Africa. Some of the brands set to showcase include Le Vian, Stuller, Shefi Diamonds, Uno de 50, Evocateur, EP Fine Jewelry, Braccio, KGM, and others.

“At our core, JIS is a perfectly timed seasonal buying and sourcing event where business and relationships are fostered,” said JIS show director Sara McDonough in a statement. “We have an incredible lineup of new and returning exhibitors and pavilions to accommodate a wide array of buyer needs.”

A new lineup of special events and activations is set to include a headshot studio, where attendees can use a styling bar to get camera ready and have a headshot taken free of charge, which will then be emailed to the attendee. The Product Showcase Runway, located at the front of the show floor, will show visitors the newest trends and top-selling items that can be purchased on the show floor and will include a selfie photo opportunity at the end of its runway-style walk.

Daily pavilion pop-ups will treat attendees to complimentary goodies each day at 2 p.m., with churros at the ETS pavilion on Friday; crepes at the Silver & Fashion pavilion on Saturday; and boozy melon bites or fresh fruit sticks at the Turkish Jeweler pavilion on Sunday.

A new exhibitor networking event, taking place on Friday, Sept. 30 at 6 p.m., gives retailers the opportunity to connect with exhibitors that are new to JIS events and view their products in display cases while enjoying food and beverages.

On Saturday, Oct. 1, the Cocktails & Connections event will kick off on the show floor at 5:30 p.m. with a live band, networking, dancing, cocktails, and food.

Newly reimagined educational programming will see daily sessions presented on topics intended to help increase sales and grow your business. On Oct. 1, Kathleen Cutler will present “Uncovering the Goldmine in Your Contacts” at 11:30 a.m.; at 2 p.m., Jennifer Shaheen will present “Growing Your Audience Reach Digitally.”

On Sunday, Oct. 2, Shaheen will present “Countdown to Christmas: Your Digital Marketing Playbook” at 11:30 a.m.; and Cutler will present “A More Profitable Holiday With Your Precious 100” at 2 p.m.

“We are thrilled to unveil new thoughtfully produced events and education designed to enrich the attendee experience and provide added value for our buyers coming from all over the world,” said JIS marketing director Lauren van Rensburg in a statement.

Lastly, located directly inside the event’s Hall B entrance, the Plumb Club pavilion in its recognizable black-and-purple color scheme will bring its coalition of members once again to JIS. All retailers are invited to visit the Plumb Club pavilion lounge offering complimentary snacks and refreshments, as well as a business center with laptops, printers, and internet access. Visitors may also enter a daily sweepstakes to win up to $4,000 in merchandise credits to spend with the Plumb Club exhibitor of the winner’s choosing.

“When you buy from a Plumb Club member, you are buying directly from a prime source manufacturer. It assures attendees of the best pricing, the most value, and the largest possible margins for inventory,” said McDonough. “The Plumb Club exhibitors supply an immense range of products from high-end fine jewelry to fashion and silver. Many members also offer closeouts that will only be available during the JIS Fall show.”
