The Canadian Jewellers Association (CJA) has appointed Nicole Larkin (pictured) its new communication coordinator.

Larkin will take the lead role on all matters of communication to CJA’s members and will inform members and the industry on topics of news and interest.

Larkin has nearly 20 years of journalism and public relations experience. She has developed marketing materials for more than 350 of Toronto’s businesses, helmed numerous magazines, and produced special feature sections for nine local newspapers.

Following journalism school, Larkin wrote for Metroland Media, the Toronto Star, and the National Post, among others. Later, she joined the in-house creative team for an international chain of private schools.

Earlier this month, the CJA hired Alanna Campbell as its membership coordinator.
