In her new role, Campbell will be the main point of contact for CJA members seeking assistance, and she will work on ensuring the organization’s benefits are competitive, said office manager Carla Adams in a statement.

A GIA Graduate Gemologist, Campbell as worked as an independent appraiser and for various local jewelry stores, according to her LinkedIn profile.

“Having been born with a love of all things sparkly, I quickly became captivated by gemstones and their unique characteristics when I started in the jewelry industry almost 10 years ago,” she said in a statement. “My passion for gems and jewelry has taken me to unique locations and has introduced me to many enthusiastic and dedicated members from all areas of the industry…. I look forward to supporting CJA members.”
