In contrast to the bold blooms I highlighted in my last post, many current floral designs in jewelry are created in softer hues that work with this season’s blush pink and other pastels.
The January 2013 issue of Marie Claire contains a 10-page spread entitled “Rhapsody in Blooms,” noting that “freshly cut bouquets are the special delivery of resort season.” A necklace of a repetitive metal floral motif from Dior is pictured with a top and skirt from Christopher Kane and Christian Louboutin shoes.

The January 2013 issue of Town & Country profiles the Rose collection from Piaget, picturing a ring in white chalcedony, diamonds, and sapphires and a necklace in pink opal and necklaces. Also spotlighted are a diamond collar necklace from Louis Vuitton and a gold acorn bracelet and peridot briolette charm bracelet from Verdura.
A wristwatch encrusted with jewels and flowers from Piaget is among the blue hued items pictured in a fashion spread with actress Ashley Greene in the November 2012 issue of Marie Claire. An elaborate ring from Pomellato and gemstone earrings from Louis Vuitton are also featured.
A flower-bedecked necklace and matching earrings with pearls are featured in this ad from Assael from the November 2012 issue of Town & Country.
A current ad for Missoni pictures a pair of shaded crystal Plexiglas bracelets with a soft pink dress and shoes from the spring-summer 2013 collection.
