Istanbul Jewelry Show Sees Increase in Visitors Over 2019…
The Istanbul Jewelry Show reports a 14% increase in visitors to this month’s show—held Oct. 7–10 at the Istanbul Expo Center—over the October 2019 exhibition, with 43% of its visitors coming from 127 different countries. This most recent event marked the 50th edition of the show.
This year, the exhibition featured an International Buyer Delegation Program, hosting representatives from leading companies and brands around the world, as well as a Designer Market, which showcased designs by its exhibiting brands and designers that were seen for the very first time.
“It’s been a source of pride for us that we’ve managed to organize Istanbul Jewelry Show for the 50th time since 1986 and also that we’ve reached the highest number of visitors for an October exhibition with this 50th organization,” said Sermin Cengiz, founding partner of UBM Rotaforte, the show’s organizer, in a statement. “Growing in parallel to the growth of the sector, our exhibition has been constantly ranked among the top five jewelry exhibitions in the world. We believe it will continue to be the preferred event for the global jewelry industry and especially for the Turkish jewelry industry, and the number of visitors and exhibitors will continue to increase in the coming years as well. Exhibitions are the only setting where business deals can be made, new orders can be given at the exhibitions, and new sector professionals can be met in person to reach new markets. All contacts made at our October 2021 exhibition will help accelerate trade in global jewelry industry and especially in Turkey.”
The next Istanbul Jewelry Show is scheduled to be held March 24–27, 2022. For more information, visit istanbuljewelryshow.com.
