Grandview Klein Diamonds Donating Dialysis Machines for Namibian Health Center
Grandview Klein Diamonds has announced that it will donate a set of three modern dialysis machines to a publicly accessible dialysis center in Namibia, in conjunction with the PhillCo Development Foundation.
During the month of August, the diamond supplier will initiate a trip to Africa for 25 international jewelers for a tour of the center’s operations in addition to sharing communal projects the company is part of throughout the area. On Aug. 10 visitors will witness the grand opening ceremony of the Grandview Klein Dialysis Center, where the donated machinery will be used to support the public health sector. The ceremony will be followed by a dinner event.

Berkley Asset Protection Issues Dividends to Eligible Workers’ Compensation Policyholders
Insurance provider Berkley Asset Protection has dispersed this year’s dividends to eligible policyholders in its Workers’ Compensation Safety Group & Dividends Plans, the company announced last week. Dividends represent a percentage of 2020 earned premium based on the loss ratio of each group, with dividends for 2022 ranging between 29% and 35%. Policyholders must have been ensured in a plan by Dec. 31, 2020, to be considered eligible.
“Members of our Safety Group have shown a dedication to safety and loss prevention,” said Berkley Asset Protection president Chip Dowd in a statement. “We are pleased with the results and happy to reward members for their diligence.”
Berkley’s Safety Group & Dividend Plans offer dividends of up to 35% of the policy premium based on the group’s loss experience, loss control help for a safer workplace, and a return-to-work program to reduce costs and manage expenses when losses do occur.
