Stephanie Gottlieb and Ritz-Carlton Partner for Over-the-Top Engagement Experience

Fine jewelry designer Stephanie Gottlieb is bringing her personal and professional philosophy, “You can never go wrong with diamonds,” to a new partnership with the Ritz-Carlton Bal Harbour.

Gottlieb and the Miami Beach hotel have created a package that gives couples a memorable and extravagant proposal experience. It will be available for booking as of June 1, at a price starting at $17,000.

“My bespoke engagement ring design process is centered on capturing each couple’s unique love story, and this collaboration takes this process a step further to provide the perfect, luxurious setting for such a special moment,” says the New York–based Gottlieb.

Stephanie Gottlieb has worked with celebrity clients including Taylor Swift, so that offers bragging rights to any soon-to-be engaged couple.

Guests purchasing the package collaborate with Gottlieb on a custom engagement ring design that tells their story. That might even mean an 11.5 ct. emerald-cut diamond. (P.S. The ring cost is not included in the package price, so this one is on the couple and their budget.)

The Ritz-Carlton sets up in-room proposal decor, which includes fresh flower arrangements along with strawberries and champagne. A photographer is on call, ready to capture the proposal and get those beautiful pictures.

From there, the newly engaged duo can have a couple’s massage and hang out at the Exhale Spa, where they also will enjoy a spa manicure together. After all, if you’re going to be looking at that new ring on your finger, you want your nails to be on point.

There are meals involved as well. First, the couple can indulge in a romantic candlelit dinner at the hotel’s Artisan Beach House, where they’ll have gourmet cuisine amid ocean views. The next morning, they’ll enjoy a breakfast in bed, choosing their own meal for in-suite dining.

Gottlieb rings
Gottlieb is known for mixing her diamond shapes in her rings, necklaces, bracelets, and wedding bands, like the ones shown here.

Gottlieb’s proposal package with the Ritz-Carlton Bal Harbour continues through 2026, so any couple looking to take their engagement up a notch have until then to get started.

Other jewelers have partnered with hotels for experiences that bring the joy of jewelry shopping together with an indulgent hotel stay. For example, Lizzie Fortunato collaborated on a jewelry-focused holiday tree package with the Dominick in New York’s SoHo neighborhood last holiday season. The hotel placed trees in guest rooms elaborately decorated with Lizzie Fortunato jewelry (which guests could purchase) on the branches.

For the Ritz-Carlton, Gottlieb says she’s ready to make some fantastic rings for happy engagements.

“I am honored to be involved in creating unforgettable memories and timeless symbols of love for my customers,” she says.
