Sissy’s Log Cabin VP Named to Arkansas “20 in Their 20s”

William Jones (pictured), vice president of operations at Sissy’s Log Cabin, was recently honored by Arkansas Business as one of 20 “young influentials” shaping business in the state.

The Little Rock, Ark.-based chain just opened its fifth store in November. It has locations in Pine Bluff, Little Rock, Jonesboro, and Conway, Arkansas, as well as Memphis, Tennessee.

Arkansas Business chooses a list of 20-somethings for “20 in Their 20s” every year. Jones’ nomination, submitted by a longtime family friend and colleague, highlighted his work ethic, professional achievements, and innovation, as well as community service and philanthropy.

“We are so thrilled to see William named to 20 in Their 20s,” said William’s father, Bill Jones, chief executive officer of Sissy’s Log Cabin, in a statement. “This award is very well-deserved. William has been a huge benefit to the Sissy’s Log Cabin business. We are eager to see how his hard work ethic and determination will bring positive additions to both Sissy’s Log Cabin and our communities.”

All 20 honorees will be featured in profiles in the Sept. 7 issue of Arkansas Business.

William Jones is a gemologist certified by the Gemological Institute of America. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Central Arkansas. He spends a majority of his time working at the Little Rock and Conway locations. He is the first Sissy’s Log Cabin employee to receive this honor.
