Share

The list of NFT offerings in the industry appears to be growing.

As more jewelers join the world of digital assets, Signet has announced it is throwing its hat into the ring with a special gift with purchase at Zales—for one day only.

Today, Tuesday, Dec. 13, marks the debut of Zales’ Diamond Heirloom NFT, a gift with purchase as part of its “You Are My Diamond” promotion for the holiday season.

Featuring 3D renderings and animation that tie in with the “You Are My Diamond” campaign, the Zales NFT can be claimed by the purchaser or gifted to someone else. The promotion is valid for one day only—today—and will go to customers making any online purchase by 11:59 p.m. ET.

A Bitski account is required to claim the NFT, the link to which will be emailed to the customer within 48 hours of purchase. The receiver has 6 months to claim the NFT.

“From our founding in 1924, Zales has strived to provide our customers with new innovations and excellent customer service,” reads Zales’ website. “As new technologies such as the metaverse, augmented reality, and digital goods become more widely used, we want to be at the forefront. These NFTs are our first offering, and we see them as a perfect opportunity to engage with and provide value to our customers”

Shoppers have a lot to choose from based on the selection on Zales’ website, from classic diamond pieces to those that might suit the hobbies and interests of giftees, like an NFL-themed collection and one that caters to a love of all things Disney.

For those shopping for the holidays, Zales’ time line suggests that rings needing sizing should be purchased by Dec. 14 to be received in time for Christmas. Ready-to-ship styles should be purchased by Dec. 22, while in-store pickups and same-day deliveries are available through 12 p.m. on Dec. 24.
