Fancy colored diamond company Kunming Diamonds has appointed Rahul Jauhari (pictured) its director of sales and marketing.
Jauhari has 17 years’ experience in the gem and jewelry industry in India. Prior to joining Kunming, Jauhari was senior vice president, global sales and marketing, for Star Rays, a De Beers sightholder. Before that, he worked as commercial director for HRD Antwerp and was senior manager, international business, for Gitanjali Gems.
Ajay Maheshwari, managing director of Hong Kong–based Kunming, said in a statement, “The true potential of natural fancy colored diamonds remains untapped. We at Kunming Diamonds are committed to making this category the engine for future growth.”
Jauhari called natural fancy colored diamonds “truly the epitome of luxury” and “the ultimate indulgence one can possess.”
