Pandora Names Paulo Garcia CFO

Pandora appointed Paulo Garcia as its next chief financial officer, succeeding longtime CFO Anders Boyer.

Garcia, currently CFO of Walmart Mexico & Central America, will join the jewelry company on Oct. 1 and assume the CFO role on Dec. 1. In a statement, Pandora shared that the Portuguese executive brings 25 years of experience in international finance leadership roles, including positions with Ahold Delhaize and Unilever.

According to Peter Ruzicka, chair of Pandora’s board of directors, the company worked on succession planning with CEO Berta de Pablos-Barbier and would conduct a thorough handover between Boyer and Garcia. Ruzicka thanked Boyer, who plans to retire on Nov. 30 after more than 14 years with Pandora, for his contributions.

Boyer joined Pandora’s board of directors in 2012 and became CFO in 2018. The company noted he played a key role in the business’s financial turnaround in 2019 and 2020 and helped establish the four-pillar Phoenix growth strategy in 2021. He will remain with the company through March 31, 2027, to support the transition.

De Pablos-Barbier said Garcia brings extensive financial and commercial experience, as well as expertise in digital transformation and the use of AI in business operations.

Frederick Goldman Appoints Beth Miller Senior Vice President of Sales

Frederick Goldman Inc. named Beth Miller senior vice president of sales, adding a veteran jewelry industry executive with more than 30 years of experience in sales, merchandising, strategic planning, and business development.

The Secaucus, N.J.–based company said in a statement that Miller has worked extensively with jewelry retailers across North America and is known for building customer partnerships and developing merchandising strategies. Her experience, notes the company, spans multiple areas of the fine jewelry sector.

“Beth has built an outstanding reputation throughout our industry as a collaborative leader who puts customers first,” John Orrico, president of Frederick Goldman, shared in a release.

Founded in 1948, Frederick Goldman is a jewelry design, manufacturing, and distribution company whose brands include Goldman, ArtCarved, and Triton. The company maintains headquarters in the United States and operates with resources across Mexico, China, and India.

AJA East Coast Names First Female President-Elect

The Armenian Jewelers Association USA–East Coast (AJA East Coast) named Ani Khachian as president-elect, making her the first woman to hold the position since the organization was founded in 1999. The election was part of the group’s selection of its 2026–2027 board of directors.

Khachian’s election, stated AJA East Coast, reflects both the organization’s evolution over the past quarter-century and the increasing number of women serving in leadership roles across the jewelry industry.

Khachian is a fourth-generation jeweler and founder and creative director of Ani Fine Jewelry. AJA East Coast confirmed she has held leadership roles within the organization since 2016 and also serves on the board of the Jewelry Design Professionals Network.

“It is an extraordinary honor to serve as the first female president-elect of AJA East Coast,” Khachian said in a statement. She added that she plans to work with the board to strengthen member engagement, expand educational opportunities, support emerging professionals, and promote Armenian excellence in the jewelry industry.

Founded at the Diamond Dealers Club of New York in 1999, AJA East Coast serves Armenian jewelry professionals through networking, education, mentorship, charitable initiatives, and industry partnerships. The association’s membership includes manufacturers, designers, retailers, wholesalers, gemstone professionals, and service providers.
