Patrick Pruniaux, the former TAG Heuer exec whose defection to Apple made headlines, is joining Ulysse Nardin as CEO.
Apple recruited Pruniaux in 2014 when the tech giant was positioning the Apple Watch for the high-end market. It later backtracked on those plans.
Pruniaux replaces Patrik P. Hoffman, who is leaving for personal reasons, the company said. Hoffman served in the role since 2011. In 2014, he oversaw the watch brand’s integration into the Kering conglomerate.
