Share

Marco Tomasetta (pictured), former creative design director for men’s and women’s leather goods at Givenchy, has been appointed creative director of Montblanc, effective March 1.

A graduate of Instituto Europeo di Design in Milan, Tomasetta has also worked for Prada, Chloé, and Louis Vuitton.

In a statement, company CEO Nicolas Baretzki said that Tomasetta coming aboard will accelerate Montblanc’s evolution into a luxury lifestyle brand.

“Even though our iconic emblem will remain at the heart of everything we do, we are committed to further breaking boundaries when designing products that appeal to both existing and new clients, mirroring their shifting lifestyles and needs,” he said in the statement.

In the same statement, Tomasetta said that he looks forward to charting “a new creative vision for the brand that bridges icons like the Meisterstück with new design concepts across product categories that will appeal to this new Montblanc luxury business lifestyle mindset.”
