TV personality and businessman Marcus Lemonis (pictured) will be the opening keynote speaker for the American Gem Society’s (AGS) 2022 Conclave.

The next annual educational and networking event will be held in Oklahoma City, Okla., from April 25 to 27, 2022, at the new Omni Oklahoma City Hotel. The 2021 show was held in Dallas in September.

For eight years, Lemonis starred in CNBC’s prime-time reality series The Profit, lending his expertise to small businesses around the country. Last year, his new CNBC show, Street of Dreams, profiled New York City’s Diamond District.

Lemonis recently signed with HGTV for an eight-episode series, The Renovator, where he helps people fix their homes. The show is tentatively slated to premiere in 2022.

He is also CEO of Camping World, the nation’s largest retailer of RVs.

“Mr. Lemonis has a knack for helping small businesses go to the next level,” said Alexis Padis, chair of the Conclave subcommittee, in a statement. “[His] words, motivation, and advice come at the perfect time for our industry as we all adapt to this post-pandemic world.”

The 2022 Conclave will mark the first time AGS has held the event in Oklahoma City.
