Loquet Bows Luxury Keepsake Jewelry Collection For Brides

Share

From Mother’s Day to graduations and summertime birthdays, lately it seems Loquet London has no shortage of jewelry gift ideas for occasions that call for something meaningful, whimsical, and stylish. The latest concept to emerge from the line’s foundation of sapphire crystal–encased lockets is a capsule with three new designs that stem from the tradition of a bride wearing something blue on her wedding day.

In fact, the collection is called Something Blue, and it reimagines the brand’s popular Miasol locket necklace—designed to be a vessel for a free fall of curated charms—as an heirloom rimmed with diamonds and aquamarines. There is also a deluxe new Miasol pear-shape locket on a diamond tennis bracelet, further accented with a tiny gold heart set with a single deep-blue aquamarine.

The third design in the collection offers the perfect complement for either of the above lockets, or another from the Loquet range that a bride-to-be already owns: a playful gold charm that says “Mrs” and has delicate aquamarine accents (pictured at top).

“The storytelling bespoke element to our jewelry lends itself so beautifully to commemorating one of the most meaningful days of our lives,” said Loquet founder Sheherazade Goldsmith in some prepared remarks around the collection’s launch. “For a bride it is the start of an unwritten chapter, a whole new adventure, with many memories yet to unfold.”

Goldsmith turned to the traditional Old English rhyme associated with wedding attire for inspiration: “Something old / Something new / Something borrowed / Something blue.” The “something blue” ended up being the unifying element. “Blue is the color of pure love, and the aquamarine is famed for its calming energy,” Goldsmith noted in the same remarks, adding that that the soothing, mood-balancing element of aquamarine is something most brides will appreciate ahead of walking down the aisle.

The Something Blue lockets can be personalized from their chain style and length to the charms that go inside them—there are infinite wedding-friendly styles such as hearts, symbolic flowers, Xs and Os, inspiring words, and letters to spell out the initials of the marrying couple. For an added personal touch, Loquet also offers an online bespoke charm design service to commemorate the wedding, the honeymoon, or something uniquely meaningful to the couple with a custom-created motif.

Additional bridal-themed capsules are planned for later this year.
