JIS Spring reinforced its position as a launchpad for early-year revenue planning with its recent 2026 show that organizers said “exceeded the previous editions’ buyers” and affirmed “Miami’s role as a key commercial gateway connecting jewelry markets across the United States, Latin America, and the Caribbean.”
Held March 8–10 at the Miami Beach Convention Center, JIS Spring is the show that helps retailers enter the spring selling season with up-to-date merchandise. Exhibitors offer cash-and-carry inventory and/or take product orders at the show, so attendees—from independent jewelers, regional chains, and specialty retailers—can come away fulfilled for the next quarter.
“JIS Spring continues to deliver exactly what the industry needs at this time of year. It’s an efficient, high-impact opportunity where real buying happens,” said JIS event director Sara McDonough in a statement. “The quality of the conversations on the floor, ability for immediate access to product, and the energy on the show floor reinforces why this unique show is a first-quarter must.”
Categories represented at JIS Spring included fine jewelry, bridal, gold, silver, and fashion jewelry, along with accessories and gifts, a new addition in 2026. Another inaugural pavilion, called Brands, highlighted designer-led and branded jewelry collections, a growing segment of the market.
Also new this year was an educational- and community-focused feature called “On Trend With JIS,” consisting of informal, podcast-style conversations right on the show floor. Topics included the evolving metal markets, bridal trends, consumer purchasing behavior, and strategies for retailers amid changing economic conditions.
“Participating in JIS was a great opportunity both personally and professionally,” said Leslie Valdez of exhibiting brand Ocean Jewelry in a statement. “Being part of the bilingual programming, not only as a panelist but also attending other sessions, allowed me to gain valuable insights from different perspectives within the industry and connect with a diverse audience.
“The show itself was very dynamic and well-attended, with strong engagement and a wide variety of visitors,” said Valdez. “We saw great interest in Ocean’s collections, further strengthening Ocean’s presence in the market, and had the opportunity to strengthen relationships with existing clients while also connecting with new and exciting accounts.”
JIS will return to the Miami Beach Convention Center for its 2026 fall edition, Oct. 16–19. Next year’s JIS Spring show will take place March 7–9. For more information, visit jisshow.com.
