Veteran security professional Larry Spicer (pictured) has joined the Jewelers Mutual Group as vice president of loss prevention and risk management services.
He replaces David Sexton, who is retiring after 39 years with the Neenah, Wis.–based insurance company.
Spicer has more than 20 years’ experience as a security professional, having held leadership positions at Aurora Health Care, Home Depot, and Kohl’s. Most recently, he was the director of public safety at Aurora Health Care in Milwaukee and was responsible for developing and implementing security strategies and procedures to safeguard more than 70,000 team members.
During his first few months, Spicer will work with Sexton and other members of the Jewelers Mutual leadership team to learn the security challenges of the jewelry industry.
