Neenah, Wis.–based Jewelers Mutual Group has promoted Mike Alexander (pictured) to the role of chief operating officer.
In his new role, Alexander will oversee the growth and expansion of Jewelers Mutual’s commercial and personal business units, aligning communication and coordination across the teams.
Alexander joined Jewelers Mutual in 2015 as senior vice president of commercial lines.
Prior to joining Jewelers Mutual, he was the senior vice president of national sales and strategy at National General Insurance in Winston-Salem, N.C. His responsibilities included overseeing a variety of property and casualty products including auto, property, flood, and commercial vehicle.
“It has been an exciting seven years for me at Jewelers Mutual as we have diversified our business,” said Alexander in a statement. “In this new role I look forward to further deepening our relationships with our customers, investing in our technology and teams, and better positioning us for today’s rapidly changing environment.”
Alexander holds a Master of Arts in geography and a Bachelor of Arts in geography and history from the University of Delaware.
