If you’re intrigued by the idea of artwork that incorporates actual diamond dust and shards, you won’t want to miss “Diamond Nebula,” a series of 12 works on canvas by artist Shreya Mehta that is currently on view at the Grown Brilliance boutique in SoHo. The exhibition explores the idea that diamonds are symbolic, not merely decorative or indicative of status: “Just as stars are born from collapsing clouds of dust, the diamond becomes both metaphor and matter, a reminder that everything radiant is forged under pressure,” Mehta writes in the exhibition notes.
