Something From Tiffany’s Premieres on Amazon Prime Dec. 9 (ongoing)
A diamond engagement ring meant for someone else is the hero prop at the heart of this holiday rom-com set to debut on Amazon Prime Video. Starring Zoey Deutch, Kendrick Sampson, and Ray Nicholson, Something From Tiffany’s, was not, as far as we know, paid for by the blue box retailer. But you’d be forgiven for thinking otherwise.

Bonhams New York Jewels: Dec. 5, 11 a.m. ET (in person and online)
A 0.34 ct. pear-shape fancy purplish-red diamond set within a stylized pendant of openwork ribbons by the designer Michael Beaudry is one of several winning diamond designs on the block at Bonhams New York Jewels sale this week. Sotheby’s Magnificent Jewels Sale in New York: Dec. 7, 10 a.m. (in person and online)
The 303.3 ct. Golden Canary, the largest internally flawless diamond ever graded by the Gemological Institute of America, is up for sale at Sotheby’s Magnificent Jewels auction in New York City this week. Expect some drama. Formerly known as The Incomparable, the fancy deep brownish–yellow diamond is being sold without a reserve, which means bidding starts at $1 (though a more realistic estimate is $15 million and above). The sale also includes a 12.23 ct. Burmese ruby, a 12.64 ct. Colombian emerald, a 16.46 ct. Kashmir sapphire, and a stash of not-to-miss Egyptian revival jewels.
Phillips New York Watch Auction—Seven: Dec. 10–11 (in person and online)
Phillips’ seventh New York watch auction features nearly 180 rare and important timepieces, including a circa 1970 Cartier London Crash, an early F.P. Journe Tourbillon Souverain, the only known Patek Philippe ref. 2499 retailed by Howes, and one of only 35 examples of a George Daniels Anniversary watch in yellow gold. Taking place over the course of two days, the sale includes 17 lots that are part of TimeForArt, a benefit auction of bespoke and limited-edition watches, many developed to match the event’s theme of “Artists for Artists.”
