The global watch and jewelry industry unites in Geneva this week for a confluence of events, centered on Watches and Wonders. From small, independent watchmakers introducing timepieces in hotel rooms across town to luxury maisons taking advantage of the opportunity to show their new collections to visiting retailers, the Swiss city will offer a plethora of product. JCK wouldn’t miss it. For anyone not going to Switzerland, this week’s got something for you, too!

Jewellery Geneva: April 13–19 (in person)

Now in its fourth year, Jewellery Geneva is a showcase for high-end jewelry brands, mostly from Europe. This year’s exhibitors include Demeglio, Heinz Mayer, Nanis, Roberto Coin, and Utopia. The event takes place at the Hotel President on Lake Geneva.

Watches and Wonders Geneva: April 14–20 (in person)

The centerpiece of Geneva Watch Week is undoubtedly Watches and Wonders, the weeklong show taking place at the city’s Palexpo convention center. Home to the industry’s biggest names, including Rolex, Cartier, and Patek Philippe, the event welcomes nearly a dozen newcomers this year, Audemars Piguet chief among them.

Haute Jewels Geneva, now at the Intercontinental Hotel, is the jewelry complement to Watches and Wonders. With a number of Italian exhibitors—including Chimento, Damiani, Mattia Cielo, and Picchiotti—expect the design quotient to be high. Also look for American exhibitors such as Scott West and Sutra, as well as founding brand Yoko London.

Connect with designers, educators, and industry professionals through hands-on learning and expert-led sessions.

The Jewelry Edit continues its master class series this week with “Logic & Magic: Strategy, Story, and Staying Power,” featuring Todd Kahn, CEO and brand president at Coach. Learn about Kahn’s journey in retail, which he began working in his family’s jewelry store, as wellas the lessons he’s learned about what it takes to build a lasting brand. Proceeds from ticket sales directly support the Jewelry Edit Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering jewelry talent, fostering community, and building a more sustainable future for the industry.

Kindred Lubeck, the jeweler who designed Taylor Swift’s engagement ring, shares her story during a special event at the 92nd Street Y (92NY) in New York. The conversation with Jonathan Wahl, senior director of the 92NY Jewelry Center, will focus on Lubeck’s practice and training as a jeweler, what being in the spotlight as a celebrity jeweler feels like, and her plans for the future of her Artifex brand.
