Jaeger-LeCoultre Appoints Catherine Rénier New CEO

Catherine Rénier, formerly president of Van Cleef & Arpels, Asia Pacific, has been named chief executive officer of watch brand Jaeger-LeCoultre.

The appointment becomes effective today. Van Cleef and Jaeger are both owned by luxury conglomerate Richemont.

Rénier (pictured) began her career in 1999 as retail development director for Cartier, another Richemont brand. In 2003, she joined Van Cleef & Arpels as international deputy marketing director and eventually relocated to Hong Kong.

Geoffroy Lefebvre, the current deputy chief executive officer of Jaeger-LeCoultre, was recently named the CEO of Baume & Mercier.
