On July 22, Robert “Bob” Moeller II (pictured), president and director of sales at R.F. Moeller Jeweler in St. Paul, Minn., was elected as the new chair of Jewelers of America’s board of directors.
He succeeds Holly Wesche of Wesche Jewelers in Melbourne, Fla.
In addition, Coleman Clark, president of BC Clark Jewelers in Oklahoma City, was voted chair-elect. Matthew Rosenheim, president of Tiny Jewel Box in Washington, D.C., and Craig Rottenberg, president of Long’s Jewelers in Boston, were chosen to be vice-chairs. Elise Greenberg, CEO of Greenberg’s Jewelers in Sioux City, Iowa, was picked to be treasurer. Karen Goracke, CEO of Borsheims in Omaha, Neb., will serve as treasurer.
In addition, the group appointed five new directors to its board: Jeffery Bolling, president and owner, Jeffery B Jewelers, Denver; Kim Crawford, vice president, divisional business manager, fine jewelry, Macy’s; Edward Dikes, founder and CEO, Weston Jewelers, Weston, Fla; Valerie Madison, owner, Valerie Madison Fine Jewelry, Seattle; and Tonia Leitzel Ulsh, president, chief operations officer, and co-owner, Mountz Jewelers, Camp Hill, Pa.
