Matteo Farsura, who had been serving as exhibition manager of VicenzaOro, was appointed global exhibition manager of the jewelry and fashion division for Italian Exhibition Group (IEG), organizer of VicenzaOro.
In his new role, Farsura will manage IEG’s jewelry fairs, including VicenzaOro, OroArezzo, T.Gold, the Italian Jewelry Summit, Valenza Gem Forum, VO’Clock Privé, and VO Vintage, which all take place in Italy. His portfolio also includes the Singapore International Jewellery Expo and Dubai’s Jewellery, Gem, & Technology show, as well as hosiery and stockings supply show FIMAST.
Farsura replaces Marco Carniello, who is becoming chief business officer for IEG.
Farsura has worked at IEG since 2017, originally on the group’s technology segment. He holds a degree in business administration from the Cà Foscari University in Venice, and an MBA from the CUOA Foundation with the University of Michigan-Dearborn.
