Heritage Auctions is putting 325 lots up for bidding in its Sept. 28 Fall Fine Jewelry Signature Auction, led in value by a platinum ring with an 8+ ct. pear-shape diamond flanked by two smaller pear-shape diamonds—which could fetch up to a quarter of a million dollars.
The sale features diamonds and other gemstones of various colors, as illustrated by the rings below with large Ceylon sapphires and spinel. Jewels by Schlumberger for Tiffany & Co., Oscar Heyman, Bulgari, and other notable names will be offered.
“Colored diamonds are some of the rarest and most precious treasures on Earth,” said Jill Burgum, Heritage Auctions’ executive director of fine jewelry, in a statement. “So we’re thrilled to bring our bidders a range of remarkable diamonds in so many colors of the spectrum.”
