Gismondi 1754 has purchased fellow Italian jewelry maker Vendorafa Lombardi from LVMH—which had only acquired the company in November.
Gismondi 1754 paid 608,000 euros (approximately $663,000) for the 52-year-old manufacturer of handcrafted 18k gold jewelry.
Vendorafa Lombardi was most recently part of Pedemonte Group, which was formed in 2020 by the Equinox III SLP SIF investment fund.
Pedemonte combined Vendorafa Lombardi manufacturing—which Equinox acquired in 2020—with Villa Pedemonte Atelier, a large-scale production specialist.
LVMH purchased Pedemonte Group, consisting of both companies, in 2022 for an undisclosed amount. It is apparently keeping Villa Pedemonte Atelier.
