Gemological Science International Appoints New Business Development VP

Grading lab Gemological Science International (GSI) has named Jonathan Tack (pictured) executive vice president of business development.

Tack has more than 25 years of experience in the luxury goods sector. He worked for a decade as vice president of sales for Suberi Brothers, where he revamped the brand and launched its e-commerce division.

Tack then founded Proposition Love, where he designed for Cher, Kathy Griffin, and Tori Spelling, and appeared on The Chelsea Handler Show. Later, he led sales and marketing at Beauty Gem and SDC Designs.

GSI offers lab and other services as well as educational programs to the trade.
