The Dubai-Based PR Showroom At Paris Fashion Week

Share

In early March, in an intimate room at the Hôtel National des Arts et Métiers in Paris, members of the industry’s press gathered for a preview of designs from international jewelers represented by the Amanqi Consultancy, a Dubai-based PR firm.

It’s Paris Fashion Week (PFW)—you’ll see it also referred to as Paris Couture Week—and fine jewelry showings coincide with the catwalk events so enthusiastically written about and photographed for the world who can’t be there to see.

The designers showcasing their latest collections at the Amanqi preview—many based in the Middle East, others in Europe and the United States—enjoyed the high fashion treatment of their own, their offerings photographed beautifully for the event (pictured here).

Along with the photos, JCK asked some of the designers for their take on the Paris experience.

PFW establishes a brand’s presence and provides a space for fashion industry leaders to come together and exchange ideas, form partnerships, and build relationships.”

“Paris Fashion Week was an opportunity for me to showcase my jewels on an international platform,” says designer Seema Somani, who is based in Dubai. “It was amazing to see the feedback on a global scale.” Her brand was established 22 years ago, first specializing in one-of-a-kind creations before introducing its new signature collections.
