Bridal jewelry and diamond brand Costar Imports has appointed Al Minor (pictured) as its new vice president of sales and marketing.
In his new role, he will manage the Burlingame, Calif.–based company’s marketing and distribution. Costar caters to independents and manufactures jewelry in Thailand.
Minor has over 40 years’ industry experience and has developed and managed five national sales teams. He most recently worked as national director of sales for Ashi Diamonds. He has also worked for Lashbrook Designs and Endless Jewelry, according to LinkedIn.
He received his undergraduate degree from Westminster College and attended law school at the University of Arkansas.
Costar Imports was founded in 1988 by CEO Ram Kedia.
