Claire’s Stores, the ear-piercing chain, has named veteran marketer Kristin Patrick (pictured) its new chief marketing officer.

Patrick was mostly recently the global chief marketing officer of PepsiCo. In her new role, she will oversee all aspects of Claire’s marketing, including consumer insights analytics, brand and business strategy, creative vision, and omnichannel media.

Patrick’s “influence is already evident through ‘Be the Most Festive,’ our new holiday campaign that amplifies and activates our purpose of self-discovery, expression, and empowerment,” said CEO Ryan Vero in a statement.

Prior to coming to Claire’s, Patrick worked as chief marketing officer for Playboy Enterprises; executive vice president, brand and business strategy, for William Morris Endeavor; and chief marketing officer for Liz Claiborne/Lucky Brand.

Claire’s went public earlier this year, three years after it filed for Chapter 11.

“Claire’s has a powerful legacy that transcends generations,” said Patrick in a statement. “I’m excited to unleash a new Claire’s.”
