Britt’s Pick: Enamel Toi et Moi Rings by Andreoli

Share

Most wouldn’t select this version of the toi et moi ring—by New York–based jeweler Andreoli—for their engagement (though some might!). But it’s an excellent example of the style as a fashion piece—or , in this case, pieces.

Andreoli’s offering hits a number of trends in one sweet swoop. There’s the aforementioned toi et moi aspect, with two gemstones arranged in bypassing fashion. Here, there’s the option of citrine or peridot, either encircled in a frame of diamonds.

Most deliciously is the feature of enamel in these rings. Andreoli offers a range of options as a part of its enamel collection, which includes more than this particular design. In the toi et moi, there’s black enamel (not pictured), which is sleek and wonderfully contrasted with the peridot’s green, a bold and daring option.

My favorites, though, are pictured here—such as this other version featuring peridot (also at top). A creamy enamel appears as delectable as vanilla bean ice cream, dripping with a dusting of peridot in a blackened setting, like melting chocolate completing the perfect sundae.

The other features citrine. If the previous style was reminiscent of ice cream, let this be sherbet: Combining creamy orange and pink topaz stones with pale blue enamel, the ring is not quite fully pastel, sort of an unexpected twist that works well.

Okay, so I’m hungry. I just likened two styles to frozen desserts, but that also tells me they’re just plain fun. Andreoli is a jeweler known for its sensational, high jewelry styles—luxurious, exquisite gemstones, one-of-a-kind pieces. These maintain that luxe look—each piece is made in Italy—but at a more attainable price for many buyers.

Those looking to enjoy a taste of two of the biggest, most current styles—toi et moi and enamel—may find their appetites satiated with these.
