There have been a couple of recurring themes here on On Your Market as of late—personalized jewelry and moon jewelry—that I wouldn’t blame you if you wondered if I ever covered anything else.

Several years into the popularity of meaningful, personalized jewels, brands are still bringing their A game with new takes. One might wonder how anything even remotely refreshing could show up at this point, but it actually makes good sense: When the market is saturated with any one style, new entrants better be really good.
The latest addition to the London-based Bar Jewellery’s personalized necklace line is really good—better than really good, even.
Handmade in Bar’s East London studio, the Script necklace lets the consumer spell their name or the name of someone special (or any other word of their choice) in a hand-drawn, spirited script font, dangling vertically as opposed to the horizontal nameplate styles we most often see.
The price is right for the upcoming gifting season: In a sterling silver or gold-plated option, the pendants start at under $100 (for an option with no chain) and go up to under $150 (to include a 20-inch chain). The metal is verified recycled by the Responsible Jewellery Council, making it a no-brainer for modern shoppers seeking responsibly made goods.
What you have before you is holiday gold (well, gold-plated silver). With the ability to customize anyone’s name (or even a special date!), this is some serious bang for your buck when it comes to impressing even the most discerning giftees (consider what to get the mother-in-law this year solved, the names of her grandchildren preserved in this most excellent script). And don’t sleep on the self-gift this year, either—we all deserve it.
