Brandee Dallow (pictured) has been appointed the chief communications and sustainability officer for Grandview Klein Diamonds (GKD), formerly part of the Julius Klein Group.

She will begin her new role on Jan. 3, 2023.

Dallow previously worked at the Julius Klein Group for 11 years, from 2003 to 2014.

After leaving Julius Klein, she headed Rio Tinto Diamonds’ North American sales and marketing office. She also served as North American trade lead for the Responsible Jewellery Council, and vice president of sustainability for luxury goods at SCS Global Services.

“It’s like returning to family,” Dallow said in a statement. “We have always shared similar values: personally, that family is everything and professionally, that the customer/retailer is the most important part of a successful business.”

Dallow will be responsible for planning, creating, and executing a comprehensive marketing, communications, and public relations program for GKD as well as partnership programs that support GKD clients.

In a statement, Grandview Klein president Moshe Klein hailed Dallow’s “vision, leadership, reputation and expertise throughout all aspects of our industry.”

Dallow is the outgoing president of the Women’s Jewelry Association (WJA) Foundation and a past president of the WJA. She is also a board member of Ethical Metalsmiths, Jewelers for Children, the U.S. Kimberley Process Authority, and Mercury Free Mining, as well as a board adviser to the Black in Jewelry Coalition.
