Borsheims Hires and Promotes New Managers

Borsheims Fine Jewelry & Gifts, the Omaha, Neb., jeweler owned by Berkshire Hathaway, has made some additions to its management team.

Andy Brabec (pictured) has been appointed director of marketing and e-commerce. He has been with the store for three years. He previously served as director of e-commerce  and helped the store double its online revenue during that time.

Combining the marketing and e-commerce departments will allow them “to work together on the store’s strategy of ensuring all customers have the same signature Borsheims experience whether they shop online or in-store,” according to a statement.

In addition, the store has promoted Marti Stephens (pictured below) to shop assistant manager. In her new role, she will help oversee the jewelry shop, including appraisals, custom work, and repairs. She has held several different positions within Borsheims, most recently as shop support supervisor. Stephens has her Graduate Gemologist degree from the Gemological Institute of America and a degree in jewelry design from the Fashion Institute of Technology.
