Louis-Gabriel Fichet, who’d been heading Audemars Piguet’s operations in France and Spain, has been named CEO of the watch brand’s North American division.
He takes over from Ginny Wright, who served as Audemars Piguet’s North American CEO from 2021 until June of this year. She now heads Orveon Global, a collection of beauty brands.
A French national, Fichet was a member of the French Equestrian Federation’s national show jumping team until he sustained a career-ending injury. That led him to purse studies in equine osteopathy. He later became involved in the hotel business.
Fichet joined Audemars Piguet in 2020 as retail and hospitality director. He was appointed general manager for France and Spain in July 2023.
He reports to CEO Ilaria Resta.
