We’re almost halfway through April—how can that be?!—the month of the diamond. Well, technically every month is the month of the diamond, isn’t it? But this one is official.
Diamonds have certainly not shied away from the spotlight this month, making JCK’s headlines with news about some record-breaking stones and more than one story involving lab-grown diamonds. If this 302 ct. emerald cut isn’t enough to quench your thirst for the sparklers, this assortment from Almor Designs might help. (Though, if 302 carats on a single diamond isn’t enough for you, what is?)
High in carat weight thanks to an assortment of illusion-set baguette diamonds, and with plenty of round accents to boot, this selection brings the bling. My personal favorite is pictured at top: a V-shape collar necklace three rows deep in diamonds, with a style that resembles a zipper. The most bedecked zipper I’ve ever seen.
While this article represents diamonds in their classic state, it’s worth noting that Almor Designs, a family-owned company, recently (in the last few years) began working with fancy color diamonds and also exhibits a number of precious gemstones.
It’s also worth noting that Almor’s website hosts one of my favorite company bios to date. Specifically, the part that reads: “Individual service and immediate feedback are a guarantee with us. Don’t be fooled by our newfangled website—you are always welcome to call and speak with an actual person.”
For more, visit heskiaco.com, and plan to visit Almor at booth LUX1033 at the Luxury by JCK show, May 31–June 3.
