AGTA to Expand Las Vegas GemFair Space at JCK

The American Gem Trade Association (AGTA) has announced that it will expand its footprint at the JCK show in Las Vegas with its 2023 AGTA GemFair pavilion. Due to high exhibitor demand, the space, which was originally contracted for 20,960 square feet, will be expanded to more than 25,000 square feet for next year’s show.

“This is an exciting time for AGTA exhibitors,” said John W. Ford Sr., AGTA CEO, in a prepared statement. “One of our long-term goals for our association is to grow our GemFairs to afford our members an opportunity to reach more buyers. Partnering with JCK to expand our space in Las Vegas is an ideal situation for our members.”

“When we came back to JCK Las Vegas this year, we had a smaller pavilion and it filled quickly,” said Kimberly Collins, AGTA president, also in a statement. “It is so fulfilling to see us grow our space more than four times the size, knowing we are meeting the needs of our members. Thank you to Sarin Bachmann and the entire JCK team—they’ve been great to work with. The future of AGTA is bright!”

AGTA and JCK reached an agreement earlier this year that extended their partnership through 2025. With its expanded space for 2023, the AGTA GemFair will continue to be located on the main floor next to the Luxury and Plumb Club pavilions at the Venetian Expo in Las Vegas. It opens one day before the rest of the JCK show—on June 1—and runs through June 5, 2023.

“We are pleased to deepen our collaboration with AGTA, as our partnership continues to enhance the attendee experience to discover and source from the leading jewelry and gemstone companies,” said Sarin Bachmann, group vice president of RX jewelry portfolio, in a statement. “Each show, JCK welcomes the largest and most comprehensive buyer attendees from all over the world who are looking to do business with trusted exhibiting companies like the AGTA community. We look forward to adding more color to the show floor.”
