5 Jewels Inspiring Wanderlust

Even though Summer Fridays are numbered, summer is far from over. With plenty of time for travels still, we’ve rounded up a few of our favorite jewels for all the wayfarers out there. From a hand-painted postcard pendant of Capri to juicy opal lemon earrings, and even a treasure trove of real shells strung on a gold-plated bracelet, these vacation-ready pieces will give you that extra push to book the flight (if you really need it).

L'Atelier Nawbar ring
Palm 2.0 ring in 18k yellow gold with malachite, Cristal de Roche, and 0.3 cts t.w. white diamonds, $2,250; L’Atelier Nawbar

There’s more than meets the eye with L’Atelier Nawbar’s pinky ring: It inspires thoughts of travel, yes, but its malachite and gold palm tree also symbolizes peace and eternal life.

NeverNot necklace
NeverNoT Travel necklace in 14k gold with opal, black rhodium plated diamond pavé, and enamel, £3,340 (approximately $4,243); NeverNoT

Part of NeverNoT’s Travel collection, this sunglasses-shaped necklace, with its gorgeous multitone opal, reminds us of a day at the pool or seaside.

Maison Tjoeng pendant
Postcard Capri pendant (also pictured at top) in 18k yellow gold with natural baguette diamonds and cabochon aquamarines, $15,885; Maison Tjoeng

Handpainted and made-to-order, Maison Tjoeng’s Capri pendant depicts the Italian island’s iconic cliffs, deep-blue waters, and striped umbrellas. It’s truly a wearable work of art.

Sorellina earrings
Limoncello earrings in 18k yellow gold with 62 cts. t.w. yellow opal, 12.41 cts. t.w. malachite, and 1.09 cts. t.w. diamonds, $12,500; Sorellina

Another piece inspired by Italy (because, let’s face it, who isn’t craving an Italian getaway at the moment?), Sorellina’s Limoncello earrings are an oversize ode to the country’s sweet citrus fruit. The resemblance to real lemons is uncanny.

Brinker & Eliza bracelet
Treasure Trove bracelet in 24k antique gold plate with Cancellaria shells, brown dove shells, a small apple snail shell, a baby olive shell, a Babylon shell, a white arc shell, and freshwater pearls, $210; Brinker & Eliza

What better way to represent summer travel than real shells and pearls? Brinker & Eliza’s bracelet, set on a 24k antique gold-plated chain, is a beachcomber’s dream.
